They've Still Got It

As the kids get older and more experienced with life, the funny little misunderstandings with semantics and life experiences are getting fewer and farther between.  That is why it really tickled me this week to have these two gems come from my almost 9-year old twins...

Ashlyn: (listening to the new Taylor Swift song, 22) "What does she mean when she sings, 'I don't know about you, but I am swimming in soup'?"

Tanner:  (while laying in my bed on my pillow) "Mom, I like your side of the bed, it is so soft and cozy, Dad's side is so hard and itchy and feels like it has been snored in."

Wish I could stop them from growing any bigger!  Everyone is at such a fun stage right now!
