Tanner Keeps us Running

I am finally starting to understand the meaning of "Soccer Mom" even though my kids have never actually played soccer.  I am truly starting to feel like a taxi service these days and a large part of that is in thanks to Tanner.

A typical Thursday afternoon looks like this:
4:30 pm- The kids get off the bus
4:30-5:00 pm- Homework, chores, and practice piano
5:00 pm- Tanner Scouts
5:50 pm- Pick up Tanner early from scouts, give him a plate of dinner in the van and have him eat and change into his baseball uniform so that we can arrive on time for his game at
6:15 pm- Baseball game
7:45 pm- Home again- time for shower, brushing teeth, reading, and BED

But it is so worth it, check that smile on his face

And look at the friends he is making

Not to mention, my kid rocks at this sport :)

He is always on his toes ready to field the ball.

Just like his coach...

This year has been an amazing year for Tanner.  His birthday is right after the cut off to go on to the next level of the league, so he is one of the older ones on his team this year... which means he is one of the taller ones on the team, more coordinated, and one of the ones with the biggest attention span.
He has been smacking balls out to field almost every time he comes up to bat and has had the opportunity to make several outs while fielding.

Tanner is also staying very busy with scouts and recently earned his Bobcat award.  He is, oh so very close, to earning his Wolf and has enough goals completed to also earn a golden arrow point.  Tanner also started piano up again and is doing awesome.

We are so proud of Tanner and all that he is accomplishing this year.  Keep up the good work buddy!
