BYU Game

This was BYU's first year in the Big 12 Conference and they beat all expectations and the Men's Basketball did so well!  We were stoked to go and watch them play against TCU.

Even though it was "Spring" the weather was absolutely horrible and we drove through a terrible blizzard the first quarter of our trip.  The weather in the Wasatch wasn't much better, so we had to find activities indoors to keep us entertained until the big game.

We had a lot of fun in the Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City, which unbelievably is entirely free to visit!

We then hustled to Provo in time to get dinner at the iconic Brick Oven next to campus.

Our timing couldn't have been better, because as soon as we got seated, Cosmo the Cougar showed up and hung out with us for a bit!  We couldn't have been more starstruck than if an actual Hollywood actor came up to our table and sat with us.

We got to the game early which really paid off because we went down low to watch the team warm up.

And again, we were in the right place at the right time to high five the players as they went into the locker room!

I have been to several NBA basketball games and NOTHING I have ever seen compares to how BYU starts their games.  It is so magical, you can't help but love them.  There is a reason that they sell out the 18,000 seat Marriott Center at almost every game.

.BYU went into half time down by almost 15, but came back to overtake TCU and win the game, just like we knew they would!  Our hearts were sure pounding and our voices were raw by the end.

It's no wonder that we adore BYU.

On the way home Ian saw a Tesla dealership with the new Tesla trucks and we just had to go check them out and get some pictures!

We love our BYU getaways!
