Idaho Spud Kings Hockey Game

For Christmas this year, we decided to get Grandpa Rich tickets to the Spud Kings hockey team.  We have heard that the games are a lot of fun to watch!  We had so much fun cheering on the Spud Kings and Whitlee even got a hat that they had handed out to the first 100 or so people in the building... we definitely weren't in that first 100, but a kind couple next to us gave Whitlee their hat.

After we were seated, we realized that our Rainey and Wilde cousins were sitting right behind us!  And cousin Bryn even got to go out on the ice during a period break to try her hand at racing a zamboni.  We were so excited to cheer her on!

Hockey is wild and this will definitely be a do again activity!  We loved having dinner and connecting with Grandpa Rich and these adventures together are our favorite kind of gifts!
