Zac's Trip to Minnesota and U.S. Bank Stadium

Recently, Zac was able to travel to Minnesota for his career of being an International Man of Mystery.

While there, he decided to treat himself on his off-time to a tour of the Minneapolis Vikings new U.S. Bank Stadium.... and it was AMAZING!  This is where the 2018 Super Bowl will be held and the 2019 NCAA men's basketball tournament Final Four.

  • The U.S. Bank Stadium seats 65,000; expandable to 73,000 for a Super Bowl.

This is the Viking horn that is blown at the start of each Minnesota Vikings game.

  • More than 10,000 truckloads of cement (100,000 cubic yards of concrete) have been delivered to the work site. That’s enough to fill over 30 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
  • It was built with the 3rd Largest Crane in the world, which required 70 truckloads of equipment to assemble.
  • There will be up to 125 suites and 7,500 club seats, including suites and clubs at the field level.

If you look closely at these pipes running through the building, they are labeled "Beer".  The amount of beer sold at this stadium per game is staggering.  I can't remember exactly what Zac told us about it, but it had something to do with several tanker trucks worth of beer being sold at these football games.

  • It has seven levels, including two general admission concourses with 360-degree circulation and various views into the bowl.
  • The stadium has the highest quality HD video boards in the NFL.

We sure miss our dad when he is gone, but we are glad he gets to experience a piece of this big and amazing world and can share it with us.
