Sauced

We had a neighbor with an overabundance of apples on her apple tree this year and I have an overabundance of kids, so I took those kids and picked those apples and we made sauce... lots and lots of glorious applesauce.

Whitlee of course was stoked because she likes applesauce... a lot.

Borrowing my mom's saucer, we worked like a professional apple saucing team.  Seriously, we are so fast, I think we could compete in the national apple saucing competition.

I cooked the apples, Charlotte smashed them through the machine.  Bronson turned the crank, and Ian caught the goop. 

Tanner and Ashlyn washed the apples and quartered them... 

And we all had a wonderful time working together and celebrated with bowls of sauce and graham crackers.  Yum!
