Giant Bubbles

Oh how I love Pinterest!  With its plethora of amazing crafts and activites, there aren't enough days in the summer to do everything that we have pinned to do.

Here is one that we checked off our list the other day and it literally kept us busy for hours and hours.

We made "Giant Bubble Solution" and then created some wands by looping yarn through two straws.  Man did we create some giant bubbles.  It was mesmorizing and addicting.  And of course by the time Daddy got home, he found a way to make it bigger and better and was enclosing the kids in bubbles.  We will definately be doing this one again!

Bubble Solution

6 cups water

1/2 cup dish soap

1/2 cup corn starch

1 tbsp baking powder

Mix gently and let sit for an hour before using. (And I would recommend blowing them outside as the corn startch tends to leave a white residue... but is awesome when the bubbles pop because it looks like magic smoke!)
