We'll Sleep Anywhere, but in Our Beds!

We seem to have created a tradition at our house that when it is summer, anything goes when it comes to bedtime... and by bedtime, I mean that time in which the kids finally fall asleep wherever they land, such as...

The trampoline.  After two failed attempts to sleep out on the trampoline under the stars (once a moth got Ashlyn, and another time, there may or may not have been a cloud that looked like it might have lightening in it), Zac finally set up the pup tent on the trampoline and the kids made it through the night outside.

Their nice daddy set them up with popcorn bags, drinks, books and oodles of pillows and blankets, but had to decline their invitation to sleep out in the tent with them, because he had to take care of Charlotte and mommy in the house.

Whenever I go to check on the twins after they have gone to bed, I still find myself surprised at their sleeping habits.  This is Tanner, asleep in a sleeping bag in the hallway.

And again, to my surprise, he was wearing his swimming suit, in preparation for a swimming party the next day.  Oh, we are so going to hate sleeping in our own beds when school starts again!
