Jersey Numbers
I never thought about what the numbers on the back of sport's jerseys really meant until I overheard this conversation between Tanner and Ashlyn the other day...
Ashlyn: "Hey, Tanner, your shirt's on backwards."
Tanner: "No it's not, the numbers go in the back"
Ashlyn: "It says 65, what does that mean?"
Tanner: "It says how fast I run... I can run 65 hours (mph?)... wanna see?"
Now I know why they gave me the number 11 jersey when I played basketball. I think it was the lowest number on the team. No wonder I sat the bench! Coincidentally, Zac was number 87 in football... I don't tease him anymore, not when he can run like a cheetah!
