Homecoming
The kids always enjoy Homecoming week! Especially, when we have a highschool volleyball player and football player to cheer on.
The kids loved dressing up for Spirit Days this year. Right now we have four kids in three different schools and every single one has different Spirit Days themes during Homecoming Week, which makes for an odd assortment of costumes as the kids head out the door.
Charlotte had Proud to Be American Day, Whitlee had Crazy Hair day, and Bronson had Beach Day.
But this day for Whitlee was one of my favorites: Business up top and Party on the bottom!
Ian asked a friend, Brindly Seacrist to Homecoming. Charlotte and I helped him put together a poster that said "I DONUT want to go to HOCO with anyone but you." and gave it to her with a box of donuts, I'm so sad I forgot to get a picture.
She answered with some Simply Lemonade and lemons that spelled out Y E S.
They had a fun group and went to Fat Cats to bowl, golf, and play arcade games during the day date, then picked up the girls all dressed up for pictures and dinner at Stockman's Steakhouse that night.
I am grateful every day that Ian has awesome friends who are genuinely great kids.
