Moab 2023

As a family we ticked off a bucket list item this year!  We wanted to get in one more adventure with Ashlyn before she took off for the next year and a half on a mission and we decided to drive south to Moab to check out Arches National Park and see what the big fuss about ATV riding is all about.

We decided to stretch our legs in Provo and made an appointment at the Provo City Center Temple to do baptisms for the dead.  The Provo City Center Temple has a special place in Zac and my hearts as it was once a tabernacle where we attended stake and regional conferences when we lived in Provo.

Since Bronson and Whitlee are not yet old enough to attend the temple, I took them bowling in the BYU Student Center while the other kids attended the temple with Zac.

It was fun to have a little bowling date with just the two youngest and I!

When we finally arrived in Moab, we checked into a beautiful condo that we had rented through VRBO.  It had a bedroom for the boys, one for the girls, and a master suite for Zac and I.  But the best part was the pool!

The next day we were all set to pick up our four-seater UTVs and hit the trails to explore.

On our last day in Moab, we headed to Arches National Park and hiked up to Delicate Arch, which was absolutely breathtaking, as were all of the arches.

Moab was such a fun and memorable trip that we have vowed to come back in two years when Tanner and Ashlyn return from their missions because we know that Tanner will absolutely love it!
