Ian's First Date- Prom 2023!

Prom landed a few weeks before Ian's birthday this year, but we decided that he was mature enough and his friends needed a good group mate, so we decided to let him begin his dating career a little early.

He came up with his own clever way to ask his date to prom that spoke to his need to be creative and also his love of building.

And his date eagerly answered him a few days later with a gift card to Pick Me Up.

The crew started their date a day early due to a baseball game that took up most of prom day.  One of the awesome moms arranged an amazing race with lots of fun challenges and activities to compete in.  Ian and his date took 3rd place!

On the night of prom, the boys picked up their pretty dates and headed to our house for a soda bar and a fancy chicken dinner served by the little sisters.

 

It was definitely a memorable and fun prom date.  Ian had a blast and I think he will really enjoy dating life.
