Ian's Arrow of Light

Ian recently completed his requirements to earn his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouting.  The Arrow of Light is a special award that is the equivalent to an Eagle in Boy Scouts.  He had to attend Cub Scouts regularly for the last three years earning his ranks for Wolf, Bear, and Webelo.  He had to also complete several other requirements.  None of it was work with this kid.  He loves Cub Scouts and joyfully jumped in with both feet.  I can't believe how fast his Cub experience went.  In just a few short weeks he will be moving on to Boy Scouts.

His leaders made him this special Arrow of Light award to present to him with his Cub Scout neckerchiefs along with other mementos that he has earned through Cub Scouting.

He got to present mom with his Arrow of Light pin.

And Mom and Dad got to present him with the supplies that he would need to begin his Boy Scouting adventures.

The Cub Scouts then all made a bridge for Ian to walk through to symbolize his journey from Cub Scouts into Boy Scouts.

He has some amazing leaders and we couldn't have done it without them.  We are so thankful for those who kindly donate their time and talents to the scouting program.  It has been a great blessing in our lives.
