A Trip to Shoshone Falls

Spring is finally FINALLY is starting to show up in our parts and with one of our first truly warm and glorious days I was just itching to get out of the house.  We decided to take a trip 2 hours from our house and took the kids to see Shoshone Falls, also called the Niagra Falls of the West.  In reading about this water fall, we read that it is actually larger than Niagra Falls, and with all the moisture we have received this year you can imagine it was pretty breathtaking.

We all took literally hundreds of pictures, we just couldn't get over the beauty!

The kids were very enthralled with the little muskrats and birds that could live right on the ledges by the waterfall.

Whitlee wanted to do some posing for the camera. 

There were lots of little trails to hike and explore.
