Charlotte's Baptism Day
We are so proud of Charlotte for her decision to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a decision that she made on her own. She asked lots of good questions and really seemed to grasp the concept of baptism. On the day of her baptism she was so happy and had smiled so hard all day that by the end of the day her cheeks hurt!
This is the baptism jump suit that the stake gave Charlotte to use. A lady in our stake made the girls suits so that they were a little more fancy than a standard jump suit.
Charlotte was able to get baptized on the same day as a best friend from our ward. The two girls are cute friends and even sang a musical number together.
Char's cousin Alyza joined in on the musical number too as she had just gotten baptized the week before Charlotte. The girls were only born 5 days apart! They have been counting down to this day for a long time.
We have a very cute group of girls in our ward in Charlotte's age group. Poor Emma still has to wait a few months before it is her turn. For being the same age, Charlotte sure looks like a giant standing next to these two!!
This may be the only family picture we get this year, so thank Heaven we were all looking at the camera and smiling!
Love this family of mine!
Here are the pictures of a photo shoot I took of Charlotte near the Idaho Falls Temple grounds. I was hoping for Spring, but the snow looked pretty with her white dress
We were sad that we were too early for the Spring flowers so we stopped at a craft store on the way home and took a shot by the fake flowers. Charlotte sure is a crack up. I am so glad that Charlotte is in our family. We all love her so much!
