Quick Trip to Mars (oops I mean Utah!)

We have been selling off our granite tools, as we have no intentions of installing granite countertops in the near future (woo hoo!) Zac sold his industrial saw to a guy out of Salt Lake, so we told him we would meet him there and made a family trip out of it. We drove by our old house in Farmington. I miss our neighbors and the trees and shrubs that we planted, but I was sure glad to return to Idaho, "our home", at the end of the vacation.

At the Clark Planetarium in SLC, they have a moonscape that the kids can pretend to walk on the moon!
Do we have the makings of an astronaut?

Mars!

We also got to watch a movie about space in the 360 theatre, it was awesome!

At Hill Airforce Base, they have a museum with hundreds of airplanes to look at and things to do, and the best part is it was all free!

I always felt bad because we never made it to the museum while we lived in Farmington, but now I am glad because the kids enjoyed it so much more now that they are a little older. We really had a great trip!
