We Love Camping!

We took our kids camping this past weekend to Paul's Resevoir, which is about 2 hours North from our house and here are some of the highlights...

The kids now pack their own bags. I make them lists like the one pictured above and then they pack. When I checked Ian's suitcase, this is what he packed:

6 Pairs of underwear

1 shirt

1 swimming suit (size 12 months)

And a stuffed animal

He knows what's important!
We were the only campers in the whole forest! We checked, talk about peace and quiet!

We parked right next to the resevoir, which made for some great all day swimming and fishing.

Tanner found a great hiking trail and loved leading expeditions, note the swimming suits, the kids now have some mosquito bites in some unmentionable areas! I guess next time, we will dress more appropriately for the hikes.
