Grandma Kris

 After almost 4 years of battling Stage 4 cancer, Zac's mom slipped quietly away on November 15, 2022.  After having several bouts of sickness where we were worried we would lose her, we were so grateful that she was able to pass away peacefully in the comfort of her home in her favorite recliner next to the fireplace.  I can't even begin to enumerate all of the ways in which we will miss Kris.  She was a person who gave her all in everything she did whether it was being a mom, wife, grandma, or Superwoman on the Rick's College campus.  She had a way of making every person she encountered feel loved, talented, and special.  She was such a good grandma to our kids and her passing is going to leave such a void in our lives.  But we are so grateful to know that she is on the other side watching out for us and reuniting with her loved ones on the other side.
