Summer at the Cabin

We love having a cabin, however knowing that it's there creates a constant longing in our hearts to be there.  And we did our best to get there this summer as much as we could before Ashlyn left for the next 18 months!

The girls found an opportunity to go up for a girl's night.  We cooked s'mores, made homemade crackers, played games, and blew bubbles!

We also got some boat time in before the starter fell apart and the head gasket blew!  We sure enjoyed it for the one or two times it worked though!

And, we got busy doing lots of remodel this year!  Zac decided to open up the ceiling to squirrel-proof a little better and make it feel bigger and lighter.  He also added some more can lights and some beautiful paneling on the walls.

We were also excited to upgrade to new couches, a new kitchen table, and new porch furniture!

We absolutely love our home away from home!
