Spring Things

We had a fairly good snow accumulation all winter long, which was so needed to get us out of this drought!  But on the down side it made winter last SO long.  Somedays it felt that we would never see the grass again or experience warmth.

When it finally did start warming up, our community was in flood danger because of the amount of snow that was melting so fast!  We didn't have any floods at home, but we could almost swim in the puddles.  There were a few families in our ward and area that received large amounts of flooding in their basements and Zac called off the second hour of church so that we could all rush to help.

Spring brings Spirit days at school and with Charlotte being involved in Student Council this year, she felt inspired to dress up.  This is her on bougie day and Bronson is also trying his best to look classy.

We took Bailey in the house to bathe her and get her ready to meet a suitor and she absolutely loved looking at her reflection in the mirror!  She is a vain little thing.

As Spring approached I loved hearing the birds begin to return and sing again.  One day when I arrived at Walmart, there was a bird on every single point of their sign.  I thought it looked cool!

Ashlyn came home from college and didn't have a bedroom, because the kids had kicked her out.  So we re-modeled the exercise room to give her a new swag space of her own where she could have some privacy!  The whole family pitched in to help.

Not even sure about what they were pointing at.  They just looked so funny and were having such a fun night enjoying each other's company!

We got new neighbors from California and they brought us strawberries the size of our hands!  We have never had such good fruit!

Snow, snow, and more snow.  It just wouldn't stop snowing... clear into May!

Enjoying some time with the horses at Grandpa Bob's.

The River by our house on a beautiful Spring day

Sage enjoying the sunshine.

It was a Happy Day when we could put the porch swings and hammocks back up in the Pergola.  We love spending time here!

A beautiful rainbow after a storm!

Fun Spring Pancakes!

Charlotte was determined to catch a picture of herself dunking the basketball.

Bronson had a blast playing a short spring flag football league!
