I Love to See The Temple

We have missed going to the temple so unbearably during the COVID pandemic of 2020.  However, it is so inspiring to me that the leaders of our church chose to renovate the Salt Lake City temple during a time when it would have had to have been closed anyways.  Zac and I recently had the opportunity to stop through Salt Lake City and Zac knew he had to stop and look at the progress on the temple.  He is always so captivated by construction projects, especially when it involves the LDS church and the temple.

It is absolutely unbelievable the amount of dirt they had to excavate to reveal the foundation of the temple.  It was an awesome experience to view that foundation that the pioneers laid over 150 years ago and to view the process that they are now taking to strengthen that foundation.

It is such a huge project with an almost unbelievable scope.  Zac was mesmerized.

A little closer to our homefront, we have enjoyed watching the Pocatello, Idaho temple growing and taking shape.  

We can't wait to see the beauty of this temple as it comes into existence and wait with excited anticipation for the day we can enter that Holy House.
