Basketball 2019

In the year 2019 we had 5 kids play on I think I counted between 8-10 basketball leagues.  It seems like someone is always on a basketball team year round at our house.  It's madness, but it keeps the kids in shape and gives them some good coordination skills while making some awesome friends, so we ball.

Charlotte and Bronson are currently participating in our local high school sponsored basketball league, which I love because all of the practices and games are just a couple of miles from our house.  It's the best.

Charlotte has improved SO MUCH this year.  She went from kind of hanging on the outskirts last year, to jumping right into the fray this year and grabbing lots of rebounds and putting some points up for her team in almost every game.

Her team is dominating this year and so far her Snake River team is undefeated.  She did a travel team and they only lost one game out of about 8 and it was a very close game.

This is Bronson's first year playing the Snake River league and we kind of snuck him in a year early, since they don't really start until 3rd grade out here.  But I didn't want to drive him clear across town to do the Jazz league, so the league coordinator let us sneak him in.  And you wouldn't even know.  He is the tallest in his class at school, so even though most of these kids are 1-2 years older than him, he seems to fit right in.

We need to get him shorts without pockets, it kind of hinders his rebounding abilities, but it makes me laugh.

This kid is working hard and learning so much!
