This is the Place Heritage Park

It has been a loooooong Winter and we were getting some cabin fever.  We decided we needed a little out and Zac was able to get us some General Conference tickets.  Whitlee's birthday just so happened to be that weekend, so we decided to make it an epic birthday adventure.  We had never checked out This is the Place Heritage Park before and we were not disappointed.  We got there not long after they opened and stayed entertained right until they closed.  There was so much to see and do.

Tanner, Ashlyn, Zac, and I get to go on a Pioneer Trek to Martin's Cove in June and so we were excited to visit this monument dedicated to the handcart pioneers and walk around this replica Pioneer village.

The big kids even had so much fun panning for gold that we had to drag them away to get in some more sights!  It was a birthday trip to remember!
