We Love to Play in the Fall

The kids have been working hard at their music this year and Fall brought some wonderful Fall recitals.  Tanner and Ashlyn have continued with the strings program in our school district, Ashlyn on the violin and Tanner on the cello.  They are getting better and better every year.  This year they put on a Halloween recital.  Hopefully, I can get the video off of Zac's phone soon and post it here.  Otherwise here are some pictures and you can imagine the angelic sound of strings emanating from them...

The kids have also had the opportunity to continue in their piano lessons.  Our wonderful teacher of many years started teaching a 5th grade class at a charter school this year and with her new busy/ crazy schedule we decided it was time to find a new teacher.  The kids adore her and she is doing a fantastic job with them.  We even let Charlotte start lessons this year and she loves it!  I got to play a duet with her at her first ever recital.  It was fun.
