Summer Wrap Up

 This Summer absolutely FLEW by.  We had one wonderful wild and crazy adventure after another right up until the day that school started.  We never did have one boring minute of down time to miss school, so much so that we were all about in tears the day before school because we couldn't believe it was already time to go back.

Some of the things we have done in the last couple of weeks:

Cabin Trips!

Zac and the kids remodeled some windows upstairs to allow for some more air flow and circulation upstairs.  Now we don't bake like potatoes when we sleep upstairs.

And while they did that, I perfected some back-to-school hair styles with Charlotte:

And we fished... a lot.

We finished up soccer and got some medals.  Charlotte's coach even provided them with some trophies.

And we spent A LOT of time in the suburban traveling to swimming lessons, soccer practices and games, scouts, mutual, family parties and reunions, ward parties, friend parties, cabin and fishing trips, that this little gal spent a lot of time napping just like this:

We got to do some monster water sliding at a block party which was pretty much the funnest thing ever...

And I got to shoot an assault rifle... left handed mind you because the eyesight in my right eye is not so great and I still held my own!

And THAT is how the Fillmores do Summer.
