We got a dog!

Meet Phoenix...

She is a 7-year old German Shepherd.  Zac has an aunt and uncle who have had her for several years and have trained her to fetch and play and be all kinds of obedient and mellow.  As they are now retired and have desire to travel more, they were feeling bad for having to kennel Phoenix for so long.  They felt she needed a family with kids....

Kids like these...

This boy is so excited to have a dog, whom he affectionately calls "Nee Nick".  Bronson will spend large amounts of time outside throwing a ball for Nee Nick and petting and combing her.  He is in love.

And I dare say Phoenix is enjoying her new home too.  The second any door opens, she runs to greet whoever comes out of it with a ball for them to throw for her.

Past all of the puppy problems that haunted us with our last dog, we are loving Phoenix and hope to have her for many years to come.
