Easter Cameth and Wenteth

Hooray Easter!  And Hooray that we celebrated it with all the trimmings in spite of the fact of being completely and totally physically exhausted with the new baby.  We didn't slack and the kids still had a terrific Easter.

We decorated eggs...

Whitlee kicked it here while we did the painting.

Bronson's new trick when the camera comes out!  What a corker.

And then on Friday night we had a family party, watched movies, ate snacks, and put out our Easter baskets for the Easter bunny.  In the morning, we found this:

Charlotte stopped to gather candy that had been hidden on the stairs.

Bronson thought it was the best day ever!  Candy everywhere!!!

Daddy comes in handy for the high places.

And at the very end, we found a single plastic Easter egg that led us on a scavenger hunt...

Which led us to his job trailer where a swing set was waiting!!!

We ended our day by visiting our Great Uncle Stu and a dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Powells.  Grandma had a great Easter egg hunt planned for us with lots of exciting prizes.  After such an exciting day, we crashed into bed and got lots of rest so that we could rest and really enjoy our Sabbath as we learned more about the Easter story and made our traditional Resurrection Rolls.  What a wonderful Easter.
