Whitlee's Birthday and April Fool's Day

The baby of our family is 12!  And we always have so much fun celebrating her birthday with a few tricks on April Fools' Day!

She was excited to get a fun hanging chair for her room!

Whitlee also loves to decorate cakes, and with some help from Charlotte, she also decorated her birthday cake, which she shared with her ffriends a fun birthday party that we had at home.

Whitlee had a few tricks of her own up her sleeve, and we bought some brussel sprouts and dipped them as if they were oreo balls to serve to her friends at her birthday party.

We also played a little trick on Dad by putting an "I Love Cats" sticker on the back of his truck.

But we also got our own trick in on Whitlee!

10 Fun Facts About Whitlee

1. She is incredibly organized and clean and keeps her bedroom beautiful and tidy.

2. She loves to decorate and has skills in interior design.  She likes to make houses in Minecraft, and she is clever at designing houses and decorating them.

3. She loves to play volleyball!

4. She has been taking piano lessons and is also learning to play the violin in orchestra.  She loves playing music and is often heard jamming on her violin in her room.

5. She is turning into quite the baker and has especially perfected chocolate chip cookies and even makes them better than Mom!

6. She is a snuggler and loves nothing more than to be wrapped up in a blanket, snuggled up next to Mom or Dad, and especially if it's by the fire, even if it's during the blazing heat of summer!

7. She loves tiny things.  She even writes tiny and draws tiny pictures.  She has the most beautiful penmanship and gets compliments from her teachers about how neatly she writes.

8. She is fantastic at doing hair!  She has taken an interest in how to curl and style her hair and has gotten so good at it.  I love to get her to curl and do my hair for me.

9. She is also fabulous at nails and loves to paint our nails for us.  If we are lucky, she will still give us the occasional Starry Night Spa pedicures!

10.  She is finally old enough to be in the Young Women's program and got to do baptisms for the dead this year, and she loves it and begs us to go.  She has a beautiful testimony, and we are so excited for her to go to girls' camp and Young Women's activities and continue to grow her testimony.
