Summer Fun
Summer went by in the blink of an eye! It's no wonder it went by so fast considering how busy we stayed!
Whitlee and Charlotte went to Basketball and Volleyball camps and Bronson went to basketball camp and played flag football. Here is a pic of the girls dance party at basketball camp:
We had some awesome rain storms!
We took the kids to visit Mesa Falls and it was gorgeous! However, the mosquitos were so thick you had to swat through them to make a path to the waterfall. So we enjoyed it for a few minutes and then made a run back for the suburban!
Zac had business to the North near Hamer where he grew up and stopped and got a picture of an upgraded version of a sign he had helped his cousin make for an Eagle project.
He also stopped to see this giant arrow, which he had learned were placed all over the US to help airplanes navigate.
We did some skeet shooting.
Ian tried out a mullet, but this was as far as he got.
We did lots of laying on the hill, usually at night to star gaze. But also the kids love playing there during the day.
Ashlyn and Whitlee got into craft painting tattoos.
The kids continue to take turns on Sunday making the Sunday meal. Charlotte made potato men in preparation for her Sunday meal.
And Whit made us some chicken noodle soup.
Charlotte and Ashlyn were twinning on a Sunday.
And Bronson wanted a picture with Ashlyn before she left so he could see how much he has grown when she comes back.
One last fishing trip with Ash before she left.
Bronson had a run-in with the neighbor's dog. Ouch!
Bronosn made a paper airplane and flew it to me and stuck it right in a fringy loop in my pants, it was a once in a lifetime shot! And Whitlee took some art classes!
Ashlyn and Charlotte did face painting for our Ward Pioneer Day celebration!
And Zac was a good sport to sit in the dunking booth!
We finally checked out the great Idaho Falls duck race for the first time. We bought an 8 pack of ducks but didn't win a single thing!
And we enjoyed time chatting with our missionaries!
Can't believe it's already been a year since we sent Tanner out! Time is flying!
