Good Clean Fun

Today, I needed to clean the kitchen, therefore, these two needed a project so that they didn't demolish the kitchen while I cleaned it.

I gave them a can of shaving cream and an apron and told them to go to town, knowing that the counters needed a good scrub down anyways.

Whitlee was very distraught at the idea of having to get her fingers messy.  It took me a while to convince her that it was okay to get them "dirty" to enjoy this project.

She wasn't buying it.  She HATES dirty hands and wanted her hands washed every time she made a mark on the shaving cream.

Bronson's favorite aspect of the project was being able to push buttons and watch the messy shaving cream come out.  He much preferred to fill the counter with shaving cream over drawing in it.

He thought it was pretty great stuff, but by the end of it, he too was ready for clean hands, because he also can't stand having his hands messy.

Sigh... wish they felt the same way about the kitchen.
