They Tug at My Heart Strings

After a solid year of practicing the same five songs every day, may I present to you the end result:

The 5th Grade Symphony Recital

With Ashlyn on violin

 And Tanner on Cello and boy is he thrilled.

I am truly amazed.  I KNOW that I could never take a group of fifth graders that big and teach them all to play an instrument, let alone several different instruments, and not lose my ever loving mind in the process.  Their teacher is amazing.  I can't wait to see them stick with it through the years.  We stayed and watched the high school symphony perform and I was rendered speechless.  They were incredible.  What a wonderful opportunity our school district provides.  We are so blessed.
