Camping!

Since we are still waiting for the permits on the house to come through before we can start digging or doing anything useful, we decided to take advantage of a nice weekend and joined Zac's family in a beautiful camping trip at our favorite place near Paul's Reservoir.

Here is what we did:

Fished and fished and fished some more

Tanner is becoming quite the expert fisherman and can bait his hook, cast it out, and hook and reel in his own fish. He caught somewhere between 5-10 fish depending on when you ask him.

Bronson chilled in the trailer, slept in the bathtub, and practiced his giggling.

He was a very good boy and thought camping and being outside was pretty great.

Charlotte went in, and out, and in, and out, and in, and out...

We all made and decorated mud pies...

Apparently, Charlotte was feeling left out that she didn't get to make a mud pie... so when we were all roasting our hot dogs and not paying attention, she created this "Mustard Pie"!

Oh how I wish you could see the mustard all over her hair, hands, shirt, and face.  (I think she tried some bites of her mustard pie)

We got after Charlotte for throwing things in the fire.  She does NOT like being in trouble and immediately ran to her "Ashie!" for comfort.

Who wouldn't love camping with a view like this!
