We're So Glad When Daddy Comes Home!

Did I tell you that Zac had the whole WEEK off between Christmas and New Years?  Our daddy has been working so hard lately that we absolutely loved having him home all week... at least I did because he did things like this...

Oh, how I wish I had a before picture.  Just look at that beautiful toy and game organization.  He also cleaned out and organized the storage room...

Put together a room and big girl bed for Charlotte.  I won't lie and say she loves it.  In fact, she cries and screams for 10-15 minutes everytime we put her down to bed or for a nap, but she STAYS in her bed!  Yay!  It is so funny how each kid takes moving into a bed differently.  I just hope she continues to stay in bed and eventually decides that it isn't scary to sleep in a bed without slats.

Now that the girl is out of the crib, it is time to move the mattress back up and get this thing ready for baby.  Dad had all of the kids helping him all week.

Ian doesn't mind helping if the chore involves tools.

Ashlyn is cleaning off coats of dried milk that have accumulated over the past couple of years.

And Charlotte thought that it looked like a fun project and was happy to join in.

Even though it was in an effort to give away her safe comfy bed to the new baby :)

Ta Da!  Bring on the boy!
