Conference Weekend at the Cabin
Spring General Conference came and we decided to enjoy it in the quiet solitude of our snowy cabin! Little did we know just how much snow there still was on the first weekend of April!
On the way, we stopped at Fat Cats in Rexburg to use our Get Out passes which gave us free mini golf and $5 arcade cards. On my last tokens Bronson convinced me to try the Monster Jackpot machine and though the odds were slim... I hit the jackpot! I think we ended up with close to 2,000 tickets.
Which was enough for a giant tennis ball and a soft soccer ball. We were pumped!
We also enjoyed some Jack-in-the-Box together, which was the kids first time trying Jack-in-the-Box. They agreed, it was pretty good.
At the cabin, there was so much snow that we could walk right up onto the roof and sled down! Zac assured me that nothing was going to landslide off the roof and made sure it was safe before we gave the kids the green light.
The morning of Whitlee's birthday, Zac took the kids to Lakeside Lodge to have lunch and play some games while Charlotte and I got up super early and headed to a volleyball tournament.
And of course, we watched General Conference which was amazing and fed our souls. We sure love our prophets and apostles!
