Zac and Lori Birthday Celebration

Zac and I celebrated another year around the sun together!  Neither of us likes birthday cake, so we usually just pick our favorite desserts to share with the family.  In the last couple of years, Oreo ball truffles have been at the top of my list, with some peanut butter buckeyes added in as well.

We celebrated in our favorite tradition of golfing 9 holes together, followed by lunch.

The restaurant gave us free birthday dessert, and we always have to show them our driver's licenses so that they can see we aren't lying; we really do share the same birthday.

Later that night, we had a BBQ and grilled steaks with the kids, and very unfortunately, that night, Zac kicked off his first miserable night of pneumonia that he battled for the whole next month.  He was a sick, sad birthday boy!  Otherwise, it was a perfect day.
