Charlotte's Softball Season

Another year is in the books for Charlotte's softball career.  And she had so much fun.  Charlotte had some great coaches that have been her coaches for the last two years.  They are fantastic with the girls.  They have been fabulous to give the girls opportunities to try all of the positions and still manage to pull off a winning season.

Charlotte really excelled at hitting this year!

This was the first year that the girls pitched instead of the coaches. Needless to say a lot of balls were thrown.  A lot of the girls decide not to swing when they are up at bat, because they are playing the odds that they will be walked.  Not Charlotte.  This girl wanted to hit.  She hit almost every time she was up at bat, scoring RBI's for her team.  She could take even the not so great pitches and knock them out to the fielders.

This year the girls also learned how to steal bases.  This is Charlotte leading off from third looking to steal home.

Char's team entered their tournaments in 1st seed!  However, after a hard fought battle with another team, they ended up taking 2nd.

It was a great season and Charlotte is making some great friends.
